I'm thinking of using The Black Hack 2e for an open table Barrowmaze game (and subbing in gold for xp). I love the simplicity of the system and I think it would be perfect for new players. However I'm a little concerned about some of the systems and I was wondering if anyone was involved in any long-term playtesting of the game (or has long term experience with the first edition).
Pokemon Blaze Black 2 and Volt White 2 are what you would call the best overhauling hacks ever. After developing other amazing hacks through the years, Drayano took all that experience and the result were the most challenging hacks you will find ever. Generation 5 is, by far, the most well done series of Pokemon Games.

I'm really excited to try out The Black Hack 2nd Edition.What a simple and elegant system. I got the version that comes with the hard back rule book, a soft back rules booklet, a great little GM screen, a couple of neat little spell books for the players - plus a great A5-sized folder with some character sheets inside. I was really pleased when it came - great quality materials and a great game.
